The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) traces its institutional roots to the University Officers’ Training Corps (UOTC) and was unified under the Ministry of Defence on March 23, 1979 [TODO: verify before publishing]. At the University of Chittagong, the BNCC infantry unit was formally established on March 31, 1976 [TODO: verify before publishing], making it one of the premier university contingents in the country.
Over nearly five decades [TODO: verify before publishing], BNCC cadets at the University of Chittagong have served with distinction — delivering Guard of Honour during university convocations, managing campus protocol and medical camps, and responding swiftly during natural disasters and cyclones across the coastal Chittagong division.

- Enrolled student of University of Chittagong (Undergraduate / Postgraduate, male or female).
